Nothing collected, nothing shared

Jellyloom is a squishy toy app made for children by Halo Dot Inc. ("we"). It is built so that it does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
What we collect
Nothing. Jellyloom has no accounts, sign-in, advertising, analytics, tracking, crash reporting or chat. It does not use the camera, microphone, contacts, photo library or location, and it does not send information about a child, a device or how the app is used to us or to anyone else.
What stays on the device
So play can continue between visits, Jellyloom keeps the squishies a child makes, the names typed for them, Club progress, fashion show ribbons, room layout and settings on the device itself. This information never leaves the device unless a grown-up chooses to share it. We cannot see it.
The one-time unlock
Jellyloom is free to play, with one optional in-app purchase that unlocks the rest of the app. It sits behind a grown-up check. The purchase is made through Apple's App Store or Google Play, which handle payment under their own privacy policies. We never receive your name, email address or payment details. The app asks the store, on the device, whether the unlock has been bought, and keeps a small note on the device so the unlock works offline. This note is not sent to us.
Sharing, pictures and backups
A picture, a short clip or a backup file is made only when someone chooses to save or share it. In the app, the device's share sheet opens only after a grown-up answers a check that young children can't easily answer. Where the file goes next is decided by the grown-up and the service they choose.
The fashion show
The show's judges, voters and other contestants are characters inside the app. Nothing a child makes is shown to other people, and children can't talk to anyone through Jellyloom.
Internet use
Jellyloom works fully offline. During play the app does not contact our servers; the only network use is the device talking to the App Store or Google Play when a grown-up buys or restores the unlock.
This website
playjellyloom.com has no cookies, analytics, ads or third-party scripts. Like any website, it is delivered by a hosting provider (Cloudflare), which processes basic technical information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the pages. We don't use that information to identify or track visitors.
Deleting information
Deleting the app, or clearing the browser's site data for the web preview, removes everything Jellyloom stored. A backup file saved by a grown-up stays wherever it was saved until they delete it. A purchase stays with your App Store or Google Play account.
Children's privacy
Because Jellyloom collects no personal information, there is nothing for a parent to review or ask us to delete. If this ever changes, we will update this policy first and ask for verifiable parental consent before collecting anything, as the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) requires.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear at this address with a new effective date.
